Join this 2-week mini-course and discover how to find, hire, and work effectively with a virtual assistant. Class starts July 6, 2025.
Are you feeling stretched a little too thin running your practice? Wishing you had an extra set of hands? This short, practical course will walk you through the ins and outs of hiring and working with a Virtual Assistant (VA), so you can spend more time supporting your clients, and less time buried in admin.
Free yourself from repetitive tasks so you can focus on connecting with clients, developing your expertise, or simply taking a real lunch break.
Delegating isn't just about efficiency. It's about creating a practice that's sustainable for the long-haul.
With good systems support, you can serve more people without adding extra working hours to your day.
If you’re unsure where to start or want a clearer picture of how a Virtual Assistant can support your work as a nutritionist or herbalist, this mini-course will guide you step by step. We’ll cover what VAs do, how to identify which tasks to delegate, and the best ways to ethically find and hire someone who matches your needs. In this short online class, you’ll get practical advice and real-world examples tailored to people in our profession so that you can get started with a VA.
Finding a virtual assistant and getting started is not an easy task. I'll share suggestions for every step of the way, so you can move through the process smoothly.
You'll get access to a sample job description, lists of where to find a virtual assistant, sample task lists and standard operating procedures, and more so that you're not starting from scratch.
Bring your questions to either of our two live calls! There's a lot of information in the course, and you'll likely have questions about getting started. This is your chance to get support as you hire an assistant.
Class starts July 6, 2025. Live Q&A sessions are on Thursday, July 10 and Thursday, July 17 from 12-1 pm ET. Live calls will be recorded for those who can't attend.
~1 hour of pre-recorded lecture + a live Q&A call on Thursday, July 10 from 12-1 pm ET.

Hi there! I'm a clinical herbalist and nutritionist and the owner of Bloom & Grow.
I've been working with virtual assistants for years now. Although it took a while to find support that was a good match for my practice, doing so has given me the chance to spend my working hours on what matters most to me.
By delegating routine tasks, I can focus on seeing clients, creating new classes, and doing more writing - all of which I find fulfilling. I hope this class will help you open up more space to do the things that matter to you, too 💚
I recommend waiting to hire a VA until you have a predictable income and a steady stream of clients. There are some exceptions to this rule! You are welcome to enroll in the course if you're thinking about hiring a VA in the future, even if you're not quite ready yet.
Not at all. While you will need some basic computer literacy, you don't need to be a tech guru to make this work. I'll show you simple tools and options for working with a VA that make the process less overwhelming.
It happens! (It happened to me, in fact.) We'll talk about how to avoid common pitfalls, strategies to make sure you're a good fit before things get awkward, and creating smoother relationships.
Even a few hours a month can make a big difference. We'll go over how to start small and scale up as needed.
You'll have access to the course for as long as Bloom and Grow Nutrition offers and maintains this course, although the forum/discussion will be deactivated one month after the course ends. In the event that the course is retired, you will receive at least one month's notice to download materials. Essentially, we have no plans to take the material away any time soon!
