Four lunchtime workshops + plenty of extras to help you get your practice started.
September 27-30, 2022
Starting a practice can be challenging. Not only are there the technical aspects of things - the forms! taxes?! - but there's also the conceptual work. Putting yourself out there, trusting yourself and your training, getting momentum - all of these can be stumbling blocks.
I decided to offer new practitioner week to make this path just a tiny bit easier, because I think the world needs more of us. Join me for a series of trainings and resources to help pave your way.
Every day, Tuesday - Friday, we'll have a virtual lunchtime workshop (or coffee-time workshop for you W. coast folks ) from 12-12:45 pm ET. Join us for one, or come to all of them.
Replays will be available for 1 month.
You've probably heard that you should have a niche. You're probably also resistant to this idea. Come learn more about how to find a practice focus and why it really does make sense to do so.
Hear a panel of experienced practitioners describe how they've made things work & their best tips for people who are just getting started. You'll be able to submit questions in advance if you like!
Whether you decide to do social media or not, I strongly recommend that you start an email newsletter if you don't already have one. In this workshop, I'll share ideas for how to get started, what to write about, and why this is a foundational tool for many new practitioners.
Bring any and all questions about getting started to this open-ended session. Questions can be submitted in advance, and we should have plenty of time for spontaneous questions, too.
When you register, you'll get access to these handy tools & pre-recorded trainings as well
Finding clients is one of the most daunting parts of opening a practice. In this recorded training, I share five easy(ish) ideas that you can implement to find your first - or next - new client.
Uncertain about what needs to happen before you open your doors? This checklist provides a concise overview of the steps to take and the systems to put in place when you're just getting started.
Most new practitioners spend too much time doing things that aren't particularly helpful. This training gives you an idea of how to focus your attention during your working hours.
Sign up for my mailing list for practitioners & I'll let you know the next time something fun comes along.
I offer community and continuing education for highly-trained herbalists and nutritionists who want to feel solid and supported in their clinical practices. I've been in practice as a licensed nutritionist and clinical herbalist for 15+ years, with a special focus on menstrual & reproductive health. I'm a registered herbalist with a doctorate in clinical nutrition, and I also serve as a professor at the Maryland University of Integrative Health, where I teach physiology, pathophysiology and mindful eating. One of my big goals is to help as many herbalists + nutritionists as possible build sustainable and fulfilling practices. I'd love to help as you get started down this path
