I wrote a few weeks ago about being in pruning mode when it comes to Bloom & Grow. Part of my desire to prune has to do with wanting to make way for things that feel necessary and helpful in this moment in time.
I've done some rearranging of my programs and offerings to create room for two new things that feel important right now.
First, I've started a new Substack with the intention to help people remember to do the often-overlooked care tasks that help a business run smoothly. It can be overwhelming to keep a business going, especially when so much of our mental space is taken up by current events. I'm good at breaking things down into manageable parts, so I decided to try to make business maintenance tasks a bit easier for people.
Each week, I'll send out a reminder to check off a small "under the hood" task that should take 15 min or less - like updating your social media bios or checking the date in your website footer. If you're interested in getting these reminders, you can subscribe here. (This week's task is checking out your contact page & making any updates that are needed.)
Second, I'll be offering a pilot "Take your Tonic" program starting next week. I think we all need a tonic right now. This program is all about picking a tonic that sounds good to you, taking your chosen tonic most days, and then gathering 6 weeks later to celebrate/reflect on how it went.
Take your Tonic is free. It's rough around the edges. I thought about waiting to do it until I have more time to get it just right, and then decided to go ahead and run it now because I think it's needed in this moment. If you're up for it, come try it out.
These are two ways I feel called to show up right now. If you've been thinking about something you can do to help your communities, this is a friendly nudge to consider putting it out there, even if it's not perfect and even if you don't feel 100% ready.
Take care,
Camille
