I've released two podcast episodes lately. One is all about one accountability group & why they've been meeting for several years. The other is a 'behind the scenes' interview with Mason Hutchinson from HerbRally.
Both episodes highlight the often non-glamorous nature of running a business/practice. They both also highlight the power of community and connection.
The longer I do this work, the more I come to understand that a lot of it comes down to finding your people. This means finding clients who are your people, but also finding colleagues who are your people.
There are certain folks who get us, who challenge us in the best ways, who resonate with our work (or vice versa). When you leave a conversation with them, when you read something they wrote, when you wrap up a consult, you feel energized, better than you were before. You're called to or reminded of your higher self.
That's how you know.
It takes some trial and error to find your people, and once you do, everything gets easier.
I hope you enjoy listening.
Take care,
Camille
