If you’re in practice, you’ve probably noticed that things are feeling a bit sluggish at the moment.

You may not have as many clients as you usually do.

People aren’t signing up.

It feels forced when you go through the usual steps to reach out to people

That’s all very normal. Summer tends to be slow every year for most practitioners.

This year, I’ve noticed that things are particularly draggy.

Colleagues in other fields are reporting the same thing. Business is slow. Numbers are down. I can only assume that it's extra hard for people to motivate given ... everything.

I have a few pieces of advice, which I shared in a podcast episode recently.

In summary: the summer slowdown is normal. Give yourself a break.

And also, keep going with teeny tiny small steps. They do add up.

Keep believing that you can do this. Know that you’ll figure things out if whatever you’re doing now isn’t working.

Talk soon.
