Are you hung up on your website?
This is a friendly reminder not to spend TOO much time fiddling with it.
It’s easy to get lost in the details. I see a lot of people waiting to start promoting their practices until XYX happens with the website.
“After I get my contact form working, then I can invite people to start working with me.”
Or,
“Once I get my email list connected to my website, I can share my blog posts with people.”
You probably know what I’m talking about
Here’s my advice: start sharing your work and inviting people to work with you now. Your website truly does not matter that much, especially in the beginning.
If you’re not spending time every week connecting with actual, real-live people, you won’t get clients. So do that instead of working on your website.
Essentially: Don’t get caught up in website perfectionism (this is an old podcast episode from the archives, but it’s worth a listen if you missed it the first time around!)
Talk soon.
