WORKSHOP: Herbs for Pregnancy and Postpartum

I can’t tell you what an honor it is to be teaching this workshop at Jim Duke’s Green Farmacy Garden. Please join me in September for a 2 hour workshop on the use of herbs for pregnancy and postpartum health. We’ll talk about safety issues, different ways to prepare and use herbs that are appropriate for new and/or breastfeeding moms, and more. And of course we’ll poke around the garden to meet some of the herbs we’re discussing.

When: Saturday, September 13th, 2014; 2-4 pm

Where: Jim Duke’s Green Farmacy Garden in Fulton, MD

Cost: $25

  • Hello, Love your site and background šŸ™‚ It seems the world needs more women knowledgeable and speaking out about herbs in pregnancy and while breastfeeding! Tough to find info! Is there by any chance a recording of the herbs and pregnancy talk w James Duke? Would love to watch.

    Liz šŸ™‚

    • Hi Liz, Thanks for your message! Unfortunately that was just a talk I did out in his garden. It wasn’t recorded or anything :(. I like Aviva Romm’s books on this subject, and the Nursing Mother’s Herbal by Sheila Humphrey, in case that helps!
